A repository moving from a builder into a cloud agent loop

Neither product is ours. Rush is, and it gets one paragraph below. Every cell is from the vendor's own pages.

The short answer

Pick v0 for web UIs that publish to Vercel. Pick Replit for an IDE, a database and hosting in one tab.

The useful distinction

v0: Vercel's AI app builder. It generates full-stack web apps from prompts, pushes to GitHub working branches, publishes to Vercel through pull requests, and has an API and an MCP server.

Replit Agent: a browser cloud workspace where Replit Agent builds, edits and publishes apps. It can also import a GitHub repository, commit to a branch and open the pull request.

IsolationSecure live previews; deploys to Vercel.A cloud development environment per workspace. Published apps run in a dedicated single-tenant GCP project, hosted in the United States by default.
Result and pull requestCreates a working branch for each change. Publish opens or reuses a pull request, merges it and waits for the production deploy; branch protection still applies. Decision

When each side wins

v0 wins when

  • Preview deployments per working branch and one-click publish on Vercel.
  • Design Mode and design systems for UI work.
  • An embeddable React SDK for putting a builder inside your own product.

Replit Agent wins when

  • Hosting, deploys, custom domains and a production database come built in, with rollback up to 28 days on Pro.
  • People who do not write code can build with the Visual Editor and Design Canvas.
  • A full cloud IDE sits next to the agent.

Rush

Where Rush sits

Rush has no editor or hosting. It is an API for agent work on the same repository, ending in a pull request or a report.

Honest limits

Skip Rush if

  • Rush runs three agents: Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode. It does not host an agent you wrote yourself.
  • Repositories come through the Rush GitHub App. A GitLab or Bitbucket repository cannot be a run's repository yet.
  • There is no self-hosted or customer-VPC deployment, and we do not publish a compliance report today.
  • Compute is metered. Free includes 5 agent-hours a month and Pro 40, each with a weekly ceiling.
  • You review the pull request. Rush does not merge for you.
