Neither product is ours. Rush is, and it gets one paragraph below. Every cell is from the vendor's own pages.
Pick Replit for a full cloud IDE beside the agent and pull requests on imported repositories. Pick Lovable for chat-built web apps a whole team edits live.

The useful distinction
Replit Agent: a browser cloud workspace where Replit Agent builds, edits and publishes apps. It can also import a GitHub repository, commit to a branch and open the pull request.
Lovable: a chat-driven app builder that generates and hosts full-stack web apps with a built-in Supabase-based backend, and syncs the code to GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket.

Buyer questions
| Question | Replit Agent | Lovable |
|---|---|---|
| What runs | Replit Agent, with model routing; Power and Max modes let you pick the model. | Lovable's Build mode. The models are not named in its docs. |
| Isolation | A cloud development environment per workspace. Published apps run in a dedicated single-tenant GCP project, hosted in the United States by default. | Lovable hosts the app and a built-in backend (database, storage, auth, functions) on Supabase's open-source foundation. |
| Result and pull request | On an imported GitHub repository the agent commits to a branch, pushes and opens the pull request with the description filled in. Needs write access. | Two-way sync with one branch at a time, with pull request creation. Export only: an existing repository cannot be imported, and reconnecting creates a new one. |
| MCP | MCP client for external tools, and a Replit MCP server (OAuth) that lets Claude Code or Codex create, update and publish Replit apps. | Custom MCP servers on all plans, and a Lovable MCP server at mcp.lovable.dev that can create and edit projects. |
| Team | Core invites up to 5 builders, Pro up to 15 collaborators and 50 viewers. Enterprise adds SSO, SCIM and audit logs. | Unlimited workspace members on all plans; everyone sees changes as they happen. |
| Starting price | Starter at no cost; Core $18 / month and Pro $90 / month, billed annually | Free with 5 build credits a day; Pro $25 / month for 100 credits |
| Where it taps out | Starter builds only in Lite mode and its published app goes down after 30 days. Core runs 1 background task at a time. No REST API to start agent work; the MCP server signs in as a person. | Cannot import an existing repository. Edits and syncs one branch at a time. Connector and Lovable AI credentials cannot be copied out. The REST API cannot start AI work. |
Decision
When each side wins
Replit Agent wins when
- Hosting, deploys, custom domains and a production database come built in, with rollback up to 28 days on Pro.
- People who do not write code can build with the Visual Editor and Design Canvas.
- A full cloud IDE sits next to the agent.
Lovable wins when
- Hosting, custom domains and a backend with database, auth and storage need no setup.
- Designers and agencies edit together in real time, with unlimited members on every plan.
- The loop is visual and preview first, with templates and design systems.
Rush
Where Rush sits
When the app's code lives in GitHub, Rush is where agents keep working on it from an API, one pull request at a time.
Honest limits
Skip Rush if
- Rush runs three agents: Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode. It does not host an agent you wrote yourself.
- Repositories come through the Rush GitHub App. A GitLab or Bitbucket repository cannot be a run's repository yet.
- There is no self-hosted or customer-VPC deployment, and we do not publish a compliance report today.
- Compute is metered. Free includes 5 agent-hours a month and Pro 40, each with a weekly ceiling.
- You review the pull request. Rush does not merge for you.
